What they believe

"Do the right thing, in the right place, at the right time — and all your dreams will be answered."

Everything here grew from a few things Allen and Deanna hold to be true. Touch one, and follow it where it led.

The first inheritance

"Jews don't run."

Stand your ground

His mother said it once, and it set the course of his whole life — the bullied ten-year-old who taught himself to stop running became a man who never backed down.

Where it was forged

Beaten almost daily as the only Jewish boy in his school, he answered a Charles Atlas ad at ten, taught himself to box, and the next time the taunting started, he ended it himself. He never ran again — not from a creditor, a rival, or a fight worth having.

Our story

From Humble Beginnings to a Life of Giving

Allen Alevy grew up in the Long Beach housing projects, selling newspapers on street corners and spending his summers on his grandfather's scrap-metal truck. He left school early to help lift his family out of poverty.

Starting with a handful of restored carnival games, Allen built a business that would help found Circus Circus and eventually grow into the Westland empire, one of the largest property owners across Southern California, Las Vegas, and beyond.

Beside him every step of the way is Deanna — an artist, a gracious hostess, and the partner Allen credits for every success. To this day, she quietly hosts and funds weddings for brides who could not otherwise afford one.

For more than forty years, Allen and Deanna have dedicated their success to something greater than themselves: strengthening Jewish life and learning, supporting families in need, standing with the people and State of Israel, and treating an entire community as an extension of their own family.

This website is a living record of that legacy — not only of what they built, but of the lives they continue to inspire.

Thinking across the generations

A line that runs from Sinai — and three hundred years past us.

The first link

The line doesn't begin in Spain. It begins at Sinai — with Moses and the covenant, the first link in a chain the family has carried unbroken for more than three thousand years.

These two are the trunk.
Everything growing above them is the impact.
